Who we are:

@IrishEmbVilnius is the official twitter account of the Embassy of Ireland in Vilnius.

If you follow us, you can expect tweets at least two to three times a week covering some or all of the following:

• Information on relations between Ireland and Lithuania and Belarus;
• Information on events organised by the Embassy;
• Press Releases and speeches (mainly relating to Irish-Lithuanian relations, EU and economic matters);
• Information on Ireland’s foreign policy and EU Presidency in 2013;
• Practical information and advice on consular and passport matters including “Emergency” communications where relevant and necessary;
• Alerts about new content on our website, 

Who we follow: 

If you follow us, we will not automatically follow you back. We will follow other official Twitter accounts of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (including Headquarters in Dublin and Ireland’s diplomatic network abroad).  Similarly, we may follow related Twitter accounts of other State organisations.  

Replies and Direct Messages

We are not in a position to be able to enter into direct conversation or issue individual replies through @IrishEmbVilnius
