Important Notice - Current Passport Processing time

Due to the extremely high volume of applications being received in Dublin at the moment, the turn around time is longer than normal. It is currently taking up to 8 weeks before we receive Passports back from Dublin.

We advise citizens to get their applications into the Embassy well in advance of travelling.

We also advise Passport renewals be made from around 6 months before expiry date of your current passport.
